Welcome to the newly refurbished Courtyard Cafe / Bar & Tapas at the Waterloo Bistro. We are pleased to be open seven days from 10:00am serving freshly brewed coffee and tea, homemade cakes, scones and shortbread.

From 12:00pm our new bar food menu features fresh open sandwiches, light snacks and Spanish Tapas served into the early evening.

With views of the river Tyne the Courtyard Bar is the place to chill out and socialise with friends, the perfect meeting place and has something for everyone.

Ron and I celebrated our 46th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday, just the two of us this year. Superb service as usual and the food....

I had Lobster Thermidor and it was sooooo good, can't wait to have it again.

If it is on the menu when you visit, do not hesitate in booking yours as soon as you arrive. The lobster is popular and I was fortunate to get the penultimate one. Looking forward to our next visit."
